We started by cleaning the roof. Using a soft wash, we applied a soap solution to kill the mold and algae that was causing black streaks to be on the roof, as well as moss. After a proper dwell time, we reapplied to harder to clean areas to ensure the roof was free from algae.
Once the roof was cleaned, we concentrated on the vinyl siding. Mold and Algae was present on all gutters and soffits. Once washed, the soffits and gutters were clean once again. Then the vinyl siding was cleaned, algae was present on all sides and heavier on the Northside of the home. The soap solution applied kills 100% of all algae, leaving this home bright white again.
